Sibylla Necklace –  named after Maria Sibylla Merian, a naturalist and artist who studied and illustrated insects and plants in their various life stages. Her engravings of popular flowers were published in “The Book of Flowers” and this offering, along with her further publications, were celebrated for their scientific accuracy, bringing a new standard to scientific illustration.
